Not really usable
In concept this is exactly what I want. I work in a shared office space. I’d like to snap a few pics if someone is snooping near my workplace (if something goes missing.) A side effect it this would capture anyone walking by, but I’m willing to put up with that.
Changing the frequency of photo capture does not seem to work. It takes about 30 photos per second, as far as I can tell. Changing to "1 photo / 10 sec” doesn’t affect the rate of capture.
I would like to use an option like "1 photo a second”. It will be choppy motion recording, but it won’t fill up my hard drive and it’ll get what I need in case I require the footage. But since the frequency options don’t have an effect, the product isn’t suitable for my purposes.
PS: I think the slash is the wrong convention in the frequency options and it makes it a bit confusing. I think "1 photo every 1 sec” would be a better convention than “1 photo / 1 sec”.
